Trauma Narratives

Catalog description

This course combines the study of creative writing, literature and theory in a global context to understand how and why traumatic experiences are artistically narrated. As the class presents trauma narratives and trauma theory, students participate in writing workshops to produce their own fictional and/or autobiographical traumatic narratives.
