Literary Magazine Production I

Catalog description

This course provides hand-on experience in the production of the university student literary magazine, Avalon. This includes acquisitions, submissions, selection, editing, layout, production, budgeting, advertising and promotion. Students will function as contributors, producing content for submission and providing input into the editorial process, such as by evaluating submissions, as well as assisting with the layout and design of the magazine. May be repeated once for credit. One credit hour.
