Introduction to Data Analysis

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the science of data. Students will explore how data is generated, gathered, stored and utilized to influence all aspects of the world around them. Students will be provided opportunities to gather data of personal interest and relevant to social responsibility for analysis. Students will perform statistical analysis on clean data while learning basic techniques using leading-edge data software.
