Dance Technique for Musical Theatre

Catalog description

This course for musical theatre majors offers intensive training in the skills, knowledge and processes of ballet and jazz dance techniques. Emphasis is placed on development of movement vocabulary, performance skills, technical accuracy and injury prevention awareness. Through these processes, students develop an understanding of the technical and artistic foundations necessary for performance and choreography.
