Catalog description

This course for musical theatre majors offers the skills, knowledge and appreciation of tap dance through the study of elementary rhythms, basic steps and terminology. The work will also introduce counting, executing rhythm, and developing confidence for a beginner level tap dancer. Through these processes, students develop an understanding of elementary technical and artistic foundations necessary for performance, choreography, and teaching.
