Catalog description

This course is a seminar in music for the dance professional. Topics include selection criteria, music listening analysis, rhythmic training, music creation and working with dance musicians. Ethical and legal issues pertaining to the use of technology and copyright are examined within the context of the dance profession. This course develops the foundation of knowledge, skills and processes appropriate for dance performance, choreography and teaching.
