Dance Production I

Catalog description

This course examines production principles of dance performance including production personnel and scheduling, lighting, staging, costuming, sound production and video techniques. Discussion of these topics will be combined with first-hand experience, as students assist in preparations for all scheduled dance performances. This course develops a foundation of knowledge, skills and processes appropriate for dance performance and teaching.
