Catalog description

This course for dance majors (and others with instructor’s permission) develops skills, knowledge and appreciation of jazz dance through the study of fundamental techniques and both contemporary and musical theatre styles. Through these processes, students develop an understanding of the technical and artistic foundations necessary for performance, choreography and teaching.
