Clinical Internship

Catalog description

Students interested in a career in clinical health professions must participate in a nationally accredited clinical internship that requires on-site training in the clinical discipline of their chosen profession. Examples of disciplines requiring clinical internships include the following: 1) clinical laboratory science (medical technology), 2) cytology (cytotechnology), 3) cytogenetics, 4) histology (histotechnology), 5) histocompatability technologist, 6) ultrasound technology, and 7) radiology (radiation technician, nuclear medicine technology).
