Independent Research I

Catalog description

This course allows students to undertake a biological research project under the instruction of a Biology faculty mentor. The research will be of a specific, directed nature and will have well-defined objectives. Assigned tasks may encompass a wide variety of activities that will include reading and analyzing journal articles, executing and explaining methods and collecting and presenting data. Students are responsible for making arrangements with a faculty mentor prior to enrolling in this course.
