Introduction to Neuroscience

Catalog description

This course explores the function of the nervous system from the level of a single neuron to the interactions of large numbers of neurons in functional and dysfunctional systems. Emphasis will be placed on the electrophysiology and molecular biology of the neuron, sensory systems and the control of motor function.
