Catalog description
This course will allow students to be instructed by a Biology faculty mentor in the skills necessary to undertake biological research. The research will be of a specific directed nature and will have well-defined objectives. Assigned tasks may encompass a wide variety of activities that will include reading and analyzing journal articles, executing and explaining methods and learning best practices in data collection and documentation. Students are responsible for making arrangements with a faculty mentor prior to enrolling in this course. Enrollment is limited to freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
