Catalog description

As a continuation of BIO 231 , the central theme of homeostasis will be carried throughout. This course begins with the integrative roles of the endocrine system. The cardiovascular system with all of its ramifications is investigated. Study of the maintenance systems of respiration, digestion, metabolism, excretion, body fluids and reproduction completes the course. Three lecture hours plus three laboratory hours per week.
