Catalog description

A course on the structure and function of the human organism. The central theme of homeostasis will be carried throughout. After studying the different structural levels of organization, cells and cellular activity are investigated, followed by the physiology of tissues, skin, bone and muscle. The integrative aspects of the nervous system and sensory organs complete the course. Three lecture hours plus three laboratory hours per week.
