Emphasis is placed upon Institutional defensive law (medical negligence and torts), healthcare regulation administrative law), patient confidentiality, informed consent and advanced directives, professional discipline, healthcare access, government healthcare policies, managed care, criminal fraud and abuse, patient rights, labor and employment law, environmental regulation, insurance law, public safety and homeland defense/terrorism.
