Catalog description
This course provides the student with an overview of some important analytical tools including exploratory data analysis, probability distributions, inferential statistics, hypothesis testing and analysis of variance. The two foci of attention are: 1) learning about the structure of analytical tools and 2) learning how to use these tools to analyze various phenomena and improve decision-making in business and selected non-business applications.
