Catalog description
This course introduces development platforms for creating virtual worlds and immersive environments. It provides a practical treatment of computer graphics, visualization and 3D content design. Topics including computer graphics fundamentals and pipeline, 3D modeling, texture mapping and 3D scanning will be discussed. Students will be introduced to available tools for building and designing virtual worlds along with their differences, strengths and limitations.
