Catalog description

Shielded Metal Arc Welding II is a competency-based course focusing on advancing students' skills in shielded metal arc welding (aka SMAW, 'stick' or more broadly 'arc'). Throughout this course, students will learn to weld T-plates in various positions using a 7018 electrode. This includes welding in the flat, vertical, and overhead positions. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate proficiency in executing quality welds with the 7018 electrode across different welding positions.
