Catalog description
Shielded Metal Arc Welding I ls a competency-based course focusing on advancing students' skllls in shielded metal arc welding (aka SMAW, ·stick' or more broadly .arc· ). Throughout this course, students will learn to weld T -plates in various positions using a 7018 electrode. This includes welding in the flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Successful students will learn to execute quality welds with the 7018 electrode across different welding positions.
