Catalog description

Gas Metal Arc Welding Ill is a competency-based course focusing on advanced techniques In gas metal arc welding (aka GMAW or . mig' ). Students will develop proficiency In welding T-plates with the FCAW dual shield process in all positions and performing groove welds using the same process in all positions. Successful students will achieve a score of 80% or above on the Visual Weld Rubric for each weld position and meet all criteria on the Bend Test rubric for all groove welds.
