Gas Metal Arc Welding I is a competency-based course that covers the fundamentals of GMAW (MIG) welding. Students acquire hands-on experience with welding, focusing on creating precise welds in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Successful students will score 80% or above on the Visual Weld Rubric for all competencies.
