Catalog description
This course provides the student with hands-on experiences and knowledge necessary to create, design, and manipulate functional spreadsheets containing basic to complex formulas, functions, and pivot tables using Microsoft Excel software. The student will incorporate critical-thinking skills and problem-solving techniques to master multi-page spreadsheets for data analysis and accurate decision making. This course will help prepare the student to successfully complete the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification exam. This course uses all or some of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs. The students must use a current version of Microsoft Windows on a compatible computer in order to successfully complete the course.
