Catalog description
This course is designed to provide the student with further study of pulmonary and cardiovascular function, principles of pathophysiology, and nursing care of common respiratory and cardiovascular disorders. Emphasis will be placed on the application of the nursing process in caring for clients experiencing respiratory and cardiovascular diseases and conditions. Combined with ADN 222 Medical Surgical I Theory, learning opportunities include both theory content and clinical experience.
