Teaching K-6 Math & Science with Lab

Catalog description

EDU 365 This course will be a lecture and lab to provide for the application and synthesis of the concepts, methods, content, and materials for math and science at the elementary level. The major mathematical domains will be covered in the context of pedagogy. In the science portion of the course emphasis will be given to the physical and life sciences. Math, science and technology will be integrated with the exploration of alternative ways to solve problems and “hands-on” experience with manipulatives.
