EDU 258 This course is designed to help students understand issues related to quality indoor and outdoor environments for young children and includes the topics of space, room arrangement, scheduling, and learning centers. The course will also explore environmental influences on children’s behavior and addresses appropriate methods of guiding children. In addition, students will learn to set up developmentally-supportive environments and create learning activities for the development of young children. The course also addresses the educational needs of a diverse-student population as well.
