EDU 258 This course has been designed to address the platform of Early Interventions & Guidance for Young Children. The Early Interventions aspect of this course will provide students with knowledge and skills specific to policies and practices for working with infants and toddlers who are at risk or who have disabilities. The course will address early intervention services, federal and state policy and law that mandate these educational practices, and the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)). In addition, this course will address practical principles and techniques for providing developmentally appropriate guidance for all young children with and without disabilities, including those at risk.
