Limitation on Enrollment: Admission to this class will be by audition to determine performance ability. <br> Note: For students seeking a non-audition option, see MUS 40 (Concert Choir) Note: Live performances are a required component of this course. <br> <br> This course is a performance-based mixed choir (S.A.T.B.) that sings a diverse repertoire of historical and contemporary music, with a focus on large-scale works, advanced harmonic structures, and pieces often accompanied by instrumental ensembles. Students will develop advanced choral blending techniques, stylistic ornamentation, and the vocal stamina required for major works like oratorios and cantatas.
