Advisory: While this course is open to all students, an assessment will be conducted by the instructor to determine if the student has the required skills to succeed in the course. <br> Note: Performances are a required component of this course. <br> Note: Field trips may be part of this course. <br> <br> This course offers musicians the opportunity to gain experience in an orchestral setting. The ensemble focuses on developing ensemble skills and musicality through accessible orchestral repertoire. This course is designed for older adults but also provides a supportive environment for young musicians, players exploring secondary instruments, and musicians building confidence in group performance. Rehearsals emphasize listening, collaboration, and intermediate techniques, culminating in public performances.
