Advisory: Essay writing skills or the eligibility to enroll in a transfer-level English Composition course or English Placement Level 6 or higher. <br> <br> This course examines the belief systems and historical developments of the major religious traditions of the world. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the diversity of religious beliefs and practices and gain an appreciation of the contribution of religion to culture. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
