Limitation on Enrollment: Must be admitted to the Health Information Management program. <br> <br> This course provides a comprehensive foundation for ethics in healthcare management and administration. Students will gain knowledge of the theory and concepts of ethics and its application to health information and healthcare administration for them to be able to model sound decision making and ethical practice. Ethics related to the United States healthcare system around patient access, quality and cost will be addressed. This course is designed for health information management majors.
