Intro to Physical Therapy

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the field of physical therapy and the role of the physical therapist assistant within the health care delivery system. Definitions of physical therapy, educational and licensure requirements, and the diverse types of clinical practice and employment settings are explored. Students will observe examples of physical therapy practice using online media resources. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
