Interpersonal Communication

Catalog description

This course covers theory, research, and application of ethical one-to-one communication practices in various and diverse interpersonal relationships including in personal, professional, and social situations. <br> Subjects covered are the understanding of interpersonal communication, more specifically, listening, verbal and nonverbal communication, self-awareness/ self-concept, culture and cultural environment, perception, emotions, relationships, communication climates, and conflict management. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
