Advisory: CIS 2 with a grade of C or higher <br> <br> Note:Students who enrolled in earlier versions of a Windows desktop operating system will be able to enroll in a more current version. <br> <br> This course introduces students to desktop operating systems with an emphasis on installation, upgrading, configuration, user management, security, and troubleshooting. Students gain hands-on experience installing and upgrading systems, configuring devices and storage, managing users and security, Azure Active Directory (AD) integration, network connectivity, and applying troubleshooting strategies. This course aligns with Microsoft Windows Client certification objectives, strengthens critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and provides a foundation for advanced study in desktop administration. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
