Catalog description

This course is designed to increase awareness and competency in effectively conveying and receiving information within a variety of contexts, specifically focusing on differentiating between receptive and expressive language within in-person and electronic contexts, and understanding verbal and non-verbal communication. Cultivating creative modes of expression will be incorporated throughout. This course is especially helpful for students with disabilities or other life challenges. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
