Catalog description

This course includes the introduction and practice of college study skills and techniques to enhance student success. The emphasis of this course will be on self-assessment for the student who has educational limitations or challenges, as well as information dissemination. Topics to be discussed will include study skills, community, awareness of personal challenges including disability, personal goals, the college experience, and career exploration. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
