Advisory: Students will need to have access to and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. <br> <br> This course is designed to give an understanding on the various ways of funding a business venture. The course explores how to raise money for growing or starting a small business by reviewing sources of public and private debt, equity capital, Initial Public Offering, commercial loans and SBA-guaranteed programs. The equivalent of this course in content and objectives may also be offered on the Internet.
