Catalog description

Note: Students should have a basic understanding of computers before enrolling in the class. Prior experience with Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign is not necessary. <br> <br> This course is an introduction to fundamental concepts, practices, and theories of digital art production. Topics include the integration of traditional design, color, and compositional principles with contemporary digital tools. This course is designed to introduce students to image editing, digital painting and drawing, animation, graphic rendering, and file output for print, web, or multimedia using current software. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
