Catalog description
These courses address the growing need of professionals in the medical fields to communicate effectively at a professional and technical level. They provides students who wish to work in the healthcare professions the requisite linguistic knowledge and correct medical terminology that they will need when they encounter critical situations in their professional lives. These courses are the equivalent of 2001-2002 and can substitute for the language requirement. By the end of the second semester, the student’s oral proficiency level should be sufficient sufficient to have a real conversation in a medical environment.
