Interfaith Studies

Catalog description

This course will serve as an introduction to the basic concepts and issues associated with interfaith and interreligious studies. We will discuss religious diversity, methods in dialogue, questions of interfaith understanding, importance of hospitality, and appreciating the wisdom of others. We will also discuss the toll of interfaith in conflict resolution and solidary based on case studies. We will include discussions of the role of art, prayer, theology, and social justice in fostering constructive dialogue.
