Legal Design:Confronting Preca

This co-taught course will apply principles from the emerging field of legal design to the experience of precarity (insecurity about resources and life-chances) that has become increasingly common in contemporary societies. In addition to reading recent scholarly work on precarity, students will participate in experiential learning through Seton Hall Law School’s Legal Design Lab, exploring innovative ways to use law to address the needs of local communities.
