Catalog description

This course is designed to develop knowledge about contemporary issues in nursing research, health care and health policy. Emphasis is placed on critical appraisal and synthesis of nursing and interprofessional literature that will guide future research, practice, and health policy. Socio-cultural informed perspectives, health disparity issues and health policy implications are threaded throughout readings and course discussions. This course provides an opportunity for students to identify grant-funding sources and build grantsmanship skills
