Catalog description

Students will receive instruction and be evaluated both individually and in dyads for skills related to diagnostic principles, including the selection, administration, and analysis of testing materials as well as caregiver counseling. Students will participate in a Clinical Education Group (CEG) clinical skill training protocol throughout the semester. The CEG lab protocol is competency-based and focuses on providing students with hands-on opportunities to refine skills and demonstrate competencies needed for success in clinical rotations and future practice as a speech-language pathologist.
