Prin Evaluation Athletic Train

Catalog description

The focus of this course is on evaluation techniques used in Athletic Training. Students will be introduced to more advanced topics in athletic training including acute musculoskeletal pathologies commonly seen in sports. In addition, emphasis is placed on basic physical handling skills, safe and ethical patient interactions, health care record information collection, general screening for all systems, basic musculoskeletal evaluation skills and other essentials of patient-practitioner interaction commonly used in an athletic training setting.
