Catalog description

This course will focus on literary editing and publishing, including the role of the literary magazine, the book editor and publisher, and the agent in the creative writing industry. Readings will include literary magazines and essays by leading professionals in the field, and students will learn how to prepare their own work for submission to a literary magazine. Students will also produce an issue of Corner Pocket, our campus literary magazine, to gain professional experience.
