Catalog description

This course will provide candidates with an understanding of best practices in supervisory practices and management of behavior analytic staff rooted in the principles and practices of organizational behavior management (OBM). Discussion will be based on contemporary texts and research literature within the field of supervision in behavior analysis and OBM. Course topics will include cross cultural supervision, assessment and pinpointing of target behaviors for trainee development, data collection procedures, changing professional behavior through the principles of reinforcement and punishment, and providing feedback to trainees. Candidates will need to demonstrate mastery of these concepts through different assessments including exams, role plays, projects, and/or presentations.
