Catalog description

This course will provide students with an understanding of a variety of behavior analytic procedures used in the assessment of behavior and the development of behavior change programs. This course focuses on two main areas of treatment, the development of behavior reduction programs based on functional assessment/functional analysis technology and the development of comprehensive skill acquisition programs through structured behavioral assessments including, but not limited to the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and AFLS. Students will need to demonstrate mastery of these concepts through different assessments including exams, role plays, papers, projects, and presentations.
