Catalog description

This course will provide students with an understanding of a variety of behavior analytic procedures used in the assessment of behavior and the development of behavior change programs. Content can be applied to many different clinical and social populations. Course topics will include, but may not be limited to, shaping, chaining, imitation, generalization and maintenance of behavior change, differential reinforcement procedures, self-management, and equivalence-based instruction. Students will need to demonstrate mastery of these concepts through different assessments including exams, role plays, papers, projects, and presentations.
