Catalog description
Examines how science and Christian theology may contribute to each other’s disciplines. With a special focus on evolutionary biology and Catholic theology (with some reference to Protestant theological perspectives), the course introduces students to the various paradigms for approaching and interpreting the relationship between science and theology. These paradigms are then evaluated through a comparative exploration of the emerging interdisciplinary field of the science of the moral sense.
