Intro to Sports Communications

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the basics of sports communications and serves as the foundational course for the Sports Certificate program. The class is designed to provide a multidisciplinary overview of the field of sport communications and the many career paths. Bringing in elements of media studies, art design, and public relations/strategic communication, this semester-long course allows students to both produce and study the many different aspects of sport and communications.
