Catalog description

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the strategies, techniques, and tools necessary to plan, organize and execute successful Esports events. Topics covered include event planning, logistics, audience engagement, marketing, sponsorship, revenue generation, and risk management. Through case studies, class discussions, and interactive activities, students will learn about the unique challenges and opportunities hosting esports events, and the role of technology, creativity, and innovation in the production of esports events. The course also covers the legal and ethical issues surrounding Esports events, including intellectual property rights, data privacy, and player welfare.
